Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Apprentice 2025

Educational Qualification

- Must possess a Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ from a recognized body.
Important Note: A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required for General/EWS/OBC candidates, and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in the prescribed qualification.

🧠 Selection Process:

Merit-Based Selection (No Written Test)
Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit as per the pre-engagement medical standards of Indian Oil.
Merit List Preparation: A panel-cum-merit list will be prepared for each trade based on the percentage of marksobtained by the candidates in the prescribed educational qualification (Diploma/Degree/12th). The list will be in descending order of marks.
Tie-Breaker Rule: In case two or more candidates have the same marks, the candidate who is older in age (earlier date of birth) will be given preference. If the tie still persists, the candidate with a higher percentage of marks in Matriculation (10th standard) will be ranked higher.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. It is mandatory to produce all original documents and their self-attested copies at this stage.
