- Management Trainee (Electronics): Full-time regular B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation, or Instrumentation & Control with a minimum of First Class or 60% marks.
- Management Trainee (Naval Architecture): Full-time regular B.E. / B.Tech. in Naval Architecture, Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding, Naval Architecture & Ocean Engg., Naval Architecture & Marine Engg., Naval Architecture & Offshore Engg., or Ocean Engg. & Naval Architecture with a minimum of First Class or 60% marks.
- Management Trainee (Finance): Graduate AND qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India OR qualified Cost Accountant (ICMA) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
- Management Trainee (Robotics): Full-time regular B.E. / B.Tech. in Robotics, Robotics & Automation, or Robotics & AI with a minimum of First Class or 60% marks.

🧠 Selection Process:
The selection process for the GSL Management Trainee Recruitment 2025 is a multi-stage procedure designed to assess candidates’ knowledge, skills, and suitability for the role.
Tier 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
The first stage is a written test, which will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The test will be objective-type with Multiple Choice Questions and will have a total duration of 60 minutes. The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
- Part-I: Discipline Knowledge: This section will consist of 60 questions related to the specific technical or professional discipline the candidate has applied for.
- Part-II: General Management Aptitude Test: This section will have 25 questions covering Mental Ability, Reasoning, English, Data Analysis, and Numerical Ability.
- Total Marks: The written test will be for a total of 85 marks.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates from the UR/EWS category must score at least 50%, while SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD candidates need to score at least 45% to be considered for the next stage.
Tier 2: Document Verification and Interview
Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification and Interview in a 1:5 ratio (for every one vacancy, five candidates will be called).
- Interview: The interview will carry 15 marks. The qualifying marks for the interview are 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for reserved categories.
- Final Merit List: The final selection will be based on the combined aggregate marks from the written test and the interview, prepared in order of merit
