  • Assistant Engineer (AE) – Mechanical (P01):
    • Regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years as AE/Manager or 5 years as JE/Assistant Manager in the operation and maintenance of 210 MW or higher capacity coal-based thermal power plants.
  • Assistant Engineer (AE) – Electrical (P02):
    • Regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years as AE/Manager or 5 years as JE/Assistant Manager in the operation and maintenance of 210 MW or higher capacity coal-based thermal power plants.
  • Assistant Engineer (AE) – Electronics (P03):
    • Regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE in Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years as AE/Manager or 5 years as JE/Assistant Manager in the operation and maintenance of 210 MW or higher capacity coal-based thermal power plants.
  • Assistant Engineer (AE) – Civil (P04):
    • Regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE in Civil Engineering with minimum marks (65% for UR/OBC, 55% for SC/ST/EWS/PWD of MP Domicile).
  • Pali Chemist (P05):
    • Regular B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering OR Regular M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum marks (65% for UR/OBC, 55% for SC/ST/EWS/PWD of MP Domicile).
  • Medical Officer (P06):
    • MBBS degree from an MCI-recognized institution with a permanent registration from the MP Medical Council.
  • Security Officer (P07):
    • Graduate degree.
    • Experience: Minimum 7 years of service as a Police Dy. SP/Assistant Commandant/Major/Captain or equivalent in Police/Intelligence/Armed Forces/Paramilitary, or as a Security Sub-Inspector/Inspector in successor companies of MPSEB.
  • Personnel Officer (P08):
    • Regular MBA/PGDM/MSW with specialization in Human Resource / Industrial Relations / Personnel Management with minimum marks (65% for UR/OBC, 55% for SC/ST/EWS/PWD of MP Domicile).
  • Junior Engineer (JE) – Mechanical (P09):
    • Regular Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years as JE/Assistant Manager or 5 years as Sr. Plant Assistant/Technician (ITI) in the operation and maintenance of 210 MW or higher capacity coal-based thermal power plants.
  • Junior Engineer (JE) – Electrical (P10):
    • Regular Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years as JE/Assistant Manager or 5 years as Sr. Plant Assistant/Technician (ITI) in the operation and maintenance of 210 MW or higher capacity coal-based thermal power plants.
  • Junior Engineer (JE) – Electronics (P11):
    • Regular Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE in Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years as JE/Assistant Manager or 5 years as Sr. Plant Assistant/Technician (ITI) in the operation and maintenance of 210 MW or higher capacity coal-based thermal power plants.
  • Junior Engineer (JE) – Civil (P12):
    • Regular Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE in Civil Engineering with minimum marks (65% for UR/OBC, 55% for SC/ST/EWS/PWD of MP Domicile).
  • Plant Assistant – Mechanical (P13):
    • High School certificate and a regular ITI trade certificate (SCVT/NCVT) in Machinist / Fitter / Welder / HP Welder / Mechanic Pump / Mechanic Vehicle / Motor Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic trade with minimum marks (65% for UR/OBC, 55% for SC/ST/EWS/PWD of MP Domicile).
  • Plant Assistant – Electrical (P14):
    • High School certificate and a regular ITI trade certificate (SCVT/NCVT) in Electrician / Wireman / Electronics / Instrumentation trade with minimum marks (65% for UR/OBC, 55% for SC/ST/EWS/PWD of MP Domicile).
  • Office Assistant Grade-III (P15) / Store Assistant (P16):
    • Higher Secondary (10+2) qualification.
    • A valid CPCT scorecard (Computer Proficiency & Hindi Typing) is mandatory.
    • A one-year computer diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Junior Stenographer (P17):
    • Higher Secondary (10+2) qualification.
    • A valid CPCT scorecard (Computer Proficiency & Hindi Typing) is mandatory.
    • A one-year computer diploma from a recognized institution.
    • Passed English or Hindi shorthand examination with a speed of 80 WPM.
  • Fireman (P18):
    • High School certificate.
    • Must have completed the main course in Firefighting from a recognized institute (minimum 6 months duration).
  • Security Guard (P19):
    • Higher Secondary (10+2) qualification.
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years of service in Police/Army/Navy/Air Force/Paramilitary/Home Guard or as an Ex-Serviceman.
  • Ward Aya (P20) / Ward Boy (P21):
    • Passed 8th standard examination.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)

  • For posts P01 to P06, P08 to P18, P20 & P21:
    • Minimum Age: 18/21 Years (as per post)
