Tips to Prepare an ATS-Friendly Resume :-

2. Show Off Tech Skills Make a “Skills” section to list stuff you know like MATLAB, C++, Agile.

Tips for acing the Junior Engineer job interview:-
**What to do:**
– Brush up on basic stuff for your type of engineering. Be ready to explain the key words and how stuff works from the job opening.
– Talk about any internships, co-ops, or school projects you did. Focus on what you did, the tools you used, and what you accomplished.
– Show how you solve problems. Give examples of times you spotted an issue and used engineering to come up with a solution.
– If they give you a technical problem to solve, ask questions first to understand it better. This shows you really think about the problem.
– Learn about the company. Figure out what they do, what they make, and their field. Show you care how you as a new engineer can help them meet their goals.
**What not to do:**
– Don’t exaggerate your skills or experience. Be real about what you can do, and say you want to learn.
– Don’t just talk technical stuff. Also talk teamwork, communication, time management. Junior engineers work on teams a lot.
– Explain how you’d learn about it or figure it out.
– Don’t give vague answers. Be specific about your experience and how you solved engineering problems. Mention tools, processes, results.

Eligibility / Qualification:-
- Graduated college with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, tech, computer science or something similar
- Are interested in getting into testing/quality control
- Know programming, hopefully Java. Testing certificates help too
- Understand JavaScript, HTML, CSS since it’s good for web development
- Get object-oriented programming and hopefully know Java really well
- Have worked with Selenium/Silk or something similar for testing websites and apps
- Have experience with testing web services or APIs – Know at least one scripting language

- – Work under a lead QE person to help out with testing stuff whenever new versions of the product drop.
