Educational Qualification

  • Management Trainee (EDP): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Sciences.
  • Management Trainee (Personnel): Degree in any discipline with a two-year full-time PG Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management, Labour/Social Welfare, IR, Social Work, or an MBA with a specialization in Personnel Management/HRD.
  • Management Trainee (Electrical): Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Management Trainee (Mining): Bachelor of Mining Engineering or equivalent.
  • Management Trainee (Mechanical): Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Management Trainee (Chemical): Degree in Chemical Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/M.Sc. in Mineral Processing or equivalent.
  • Graduate Operational Trainee (Chemical/Survey/Physics): B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST.
  • Diploma Trainee (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Diploma Trainee (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation): Three-year Diploma in the respective engineering discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for ST.
  • Diploma Trainee (Mining): Diploma in Mining Engineering/Mining & Mine Surveying with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST.
  • Graduate Operational Trainee (CR&D/HPU): B.Sc. (Chemistry) or B.Sc. (Chemistry-Hons.) with Physics and Maths as subsidiary subjects with a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for ST.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants as of September 24, 2025, is as follows:

  • Management Trainee: 28 years
  • Diploma Trainee/Graduate Operational Trainee: 30 years
